Owned and Operated by Paul & Austin Walters, The I.T. Guy, Inc. started out as a sole proprietorship after the tech crash of 1999. Like many I.T. professionals that lost jobs, something had to be done to make a living. LTA Computers was born and focused on the in home break\fix for residential clients.  Dell, Compaq, HP, and more were consistent clients for warranty repair and troubleshooting work.

 

Along the way more skills were acquired by in field first hand experience, continuing education and ALOT of trial and error!. LTA Computers morphed from a break/fix company into a networking installation company so in 2013 with Austin onboard, Paul incorporated and rebranded into The I.T. Guy, Inc.

 

Bringing new energy and knowledge to an already established repair and support company, The I.T. Guy, Inc. has grown and expanded to offer an array of services to support both residential and small business clients throughout the NW Indiana and surrounding Illinois suburbs.

Our niche is cable runs, network setups, WiFi builds, Point of Sale installation and camera installation. There are a myriad of other tasks The I.T. Guy can handle so if you are in need of help with your technology the only people to call is The I.T. Guy.
